Fredericksburg Pics

Sorry for the delay!, but here are a few pics from our trip last weekend to Fredericksburg! By the way there are a lot of great shops there, and I want to give a shout out to this one: RedinFred. An adorable little vintage/modern store with unique gifts, furniture, and randomness.

I also got an idea for a little dresser that I want to redo, I just need to hit a few garage sales to find a chest of drawers first.

Okay, here's the pics!

We went on a hike to Enchanted Rock, here's a view from the top!

Adam freaked me out by pretending to run of the top! (That's how accidents happen. . . ahh!)

I decided to move a large rock . . . with my bare hands! :)

Then later, we visited a GrapeCreek Vineyard, so pretty!

And I liked their door!

We ate dinner for our anniversary at a great restaurant called Navajo Grill. Delicious crab cakes!

That's about it, I do want to post about another restaurant that we ate at, but I guess I will just keep you in suspense!

Anniversary One!

Adam and I officially celebrated our 1st anniversary yesterday on June 20th! We left Thursday for a little trip to the Hill Country - Frederickburg to be exact. (It was wonderful!)

Thanks to some creative idea help from Aleks S. I was able to do the above in the picture! I spelled out "one" to represent us being married for one year. Then each package was filled with something that represnts that letter (O=Outerwear, etc)! This is now a tradition that I will carry on for many years to come on our anniversary!

I'll post some pictures of our trip to the Hill Country Soon!

Have a great day!

Thankful today!

Today we got to have a little get away with some of the gals in the office and go to the Dallas Arboretum. We at lunch and then just got to enjoy some time to walk around and/or sit and read.

So thankful to get to enjoy this beautiful spot in the Big D! I love getting to read my Bible in gorgeous places and think about what He is up, especially now as Adam and I are preparing for so much change.

A few pics from my time reading:

In just a little over a week . . .

Wow! I can hardly believe it in just a little over a week, June 20th, Adam and I will have been married for 1 year! Time sure flies by quick.

Seems like just yesterday we were two fools (below) out on a date! This is one of my favorite pics of Adam and I . . . don't we look mean?

Pic #4 A picture of a really amazing ice cream spot! It's called "By the Wall" b/c it's by this wall that's next to the river that was built so the town doesn't flood! Umm yes, we will frequent this.

Pic #5 Just a little scenery . . .
Pics #6-8 There is an amazing amusement park nearby called Knoebels (www.knoebels.com) that has free parking and free entrance you just pay per ride! Here are a few pics from our visit to the park!

Big News!

Yes, it's true, the Scheideggers have B-I-G! news . . . no I am not prego. . . we are moving to Pennsylvania. The state of independence!

We are moving to the central Pennsylvania where Adam is taking on the role as Contemporary Worship Pastor as well as directing the youth at Sunbury Bible Church.

Here is a map below of Pennsylvania, I circled the area that we will primarily be in and serving.

We are definitely still working out a lot of details and when we will move exactly, but it looks like it will be around the first of September.

So mark our blog as a favorite and keep up with our adventures as we definitely consider this a huge adventure. This is definitely the biggest decision we have made in our first year of marriage.

We definitely appreciate your prayers for us as work out all the details of the move and prepare emotionally for this transition.

I will post again soon with some pictures that Adam and I took when we went up there for a visit just under a month ago. Have a great day! Thanks for stopping by!
