Watermark News Story!

Every week at my church Watermark Community Church, they have a different story of something that God has done in the life of a Christ follower in our bulletin which we call the Watermark News. It's such a blessing to get to read it each week. We have a lot of talented authors that write the stories!

I got to be in the Watermark News a few weeks back about my trip to Africa. They are now posting the stories online on a blog as well!!

Pretty Fabric!

I found this fabric last weekend!! and I am in love with it! I have been trying to think of a reason to buy it . . . and I think I finally just got one. I was inspired!

I am going to choose to keep you in suspense though . . . until I post the final product. I'll be heading to Joanne's after work Friday to pick up a small piece! any guesses?

Spoon Rest!

This is something I made awhile back! I friend and I went to one of those awesome pottery place where you can pick out what you want to paint, paint it, and then they fire it for you! We went to celebrate her birthday! I chose this little trivet b/c I decided I would use it as a spoon rest on my stove. My new dishes are that dark blue color that the "S" is.

I also trimmed it in yellow to give it a punch!

Mainly it is just fun to sit and and talk and paint with a friend; but is also nice to have something useful for your kitchen!

I'm kinda love making things with "S"'s right now to enjoy my new last name!
